Perfect for strolls and picnics during spring, this ‎78,901 square meter park showcases the annual Christmas market with food stalls and shops from all over the world. Not to mention, Odori Park is one of the site of the Sapporo Snow Festival. Among the three sites, Odori Park has the most number of ice sculptures. People from all over the world are awed by the dazzling and gigantic displays made of ice. All sculptures are designed in precision, taking every angle in full detail. If you are bringing your little tots with you, you can take the 15 to 25 minute bus ride to one of the three venues of the Snow Festival, Tsu Dome. The place has different ice activities such as snow slides, snow skiing and much, much more.

 

Ravish the bounty of Sapporo’s ocean by taking a visit down Nijo Market. This small market offers a wide variety of fresh seafood delicacies to dishes. Eat to your hearts content!
