Distinctive “Horse”-Themed Interior: Inspired by the “horse”—the origin of our facility’s name—we’ve incorporated art featuring horses throughout the rooms. In particular, the dynamic painting of a horse on the bedroom wall serves as a symbol of this place where Japanese history and contemporary art intersect.

Excellent Access to Downtown Tokyo: **JR Yamanote Line “Komagome Station”** offers extremely convenient access to Tokyo’s major tourist attractions. You can reach destinations such as Ueno, Shinjuku, Shibuya, Harajuku, and Akihabara without having to transfer trains.

[About Komagome]
Komagome is a quiet residential neighborhood known for its beautiful gardens, such as Rikugien and the Former Koga Garden. Here, you can enjoy a relaxing stay away from the hustle and bustle of the city.

There are various theories regarding the origin of the name “Komagome,” but one of the leading theories traces it back to the eastern campaign of Yamato Takeru.

Historical records state that Yamato Takeru no Mikoto—a hero featured in *Kojiki* and *Nihon Shoki*, Japan’s oldest surviving historical texts—visited this area during his eastern campaign. Upon seeing the large number of horses (koma) belonging to his allied forces, he remarked, “The horses are gathered here” (koma-gomi-tari), and the name is said to derive from this.

Based on this theory, our facility was named “KOMAGOMITARI.” Why not create lasting travel memories while immersing yourself in the historical tales that have existed in this area since ancient times?
